The best treatment for antiaging is to target multiple concerns like aging signs, pigmentation etc. It can be done by removing superficial dead layers and replacing it with formation of new skin layers & collagen. Most commonly done procedure are:
LASER RESURFACING: Latest technique using Fractional Er:YAG and Fractional CO2 laser to cause thermal stress to entire epidermis with healing of the deeper dermis. Laser Resurfacing helps against photoaging like wrinkles and fine lines.
HIFU: HIFU is High Intensity Focused Ultrasound which targets the deeper layers of the skin, to cause a uniform bulk heating of the muscle for the production of collagen. The results seen are appreciated 3months after the session. Unlike other HIFU machines, this latest technology, is completely painless and requiring second session only for above 50 years.
RADIOFREQUENCY SKIN TIGHTENING: Combination of RF + HIFU, which targets the muscles and deeper layers, and it increases the content of dermal collagen.
ANTIAGING FACIALS: These facials target the superficial layers of the skin i.e., fine line, wrinkles and other surface abnormalities. They are mix of hydrafacial, anti-aging facials, hydrating facials, collagen facials, exfoliating facials, skin lightening facials, LED light therapy etc. with vitamin infusion, algae sheet mask application along with facial massage.
CHEMICAL PEELS: The chemical peels help in reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, PIH marks, reducing pigmentation etc. There is increase in collagen and GAG in skin. Commonly used peels are retinol based peel, phenol based peels, glycolic acid peels etc.
DERMABRASION / MICRODERMABRASION: Dermabrasion helps in removing the outer dead layer of the skin by gentle exfoliation. It helps in treatment of wrinkles, age spots and sun damaged spots.
INJECTABLES:
DERMAL FILLERS: The fillers are injected beneath the skin to improve the features of aging skin. It is done by soft tissue augmentation. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is most commonly used filler. It helps in hydration and fibroblast activation. Life of dermal fillers can vary and last anywhere from 6 months – 2 years.
BOTULINUM TOXIN (BTX): Botulinum Toxin Injection is injected into the muscles to decrease the activity of the muscles and hence helps in decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. These are used on multiple facial regions like crow’s feet, frown lines, bunny lines, forehead lines etc. There is no recovery time. It lasts for 3-6months.
THREADS: It is a non-surgical procedure which is done using medical grades threads. It is done to pull the skin in upwards direct to lift sagging and aging skin. It helps in stimulation of the collagen and gives more youthful appearance. There is a minimal downtime for these procedures.
